About WickHunt
WickHunt is an independent directory of candle and soap fragrance oils that suppliers have discontinued, are retiring, or have put on clearance. It’s for makers who want to restock a favourite scent before it disappears, or find out where it’s still available.
We don’t sell fragrance oils and we aren’t affiliated with the suppliers we list. Every listing links to the supplier’s own product page, where prices and stock are set.
How listings are verified
A listing shows a status only when we’ve recorded evidence from the supplier (for example their clearance page or discontinued list) and the date we confirmed it. If we haven’t confirmed it, the listing says Unverified. A broken link on its own isn’t treated as proof that a product was discontinued.
- Discontinued
- The supplier has discontinued or retired this fragrance oil. Shown until the record is changed, and re-checked periodically.
- Retiring
- The supplier has announced this fragrance oil is being retired and will be discontinued. Shown for up to 60 days after it was confirmed; after that the listing says Unverified until it’s re-checked.
- Clearance
- The supplier lists this fragrance oil as clearance or closeout. Shown for up to 30 days after it was confirmed; after that the listing says Unverified until it’s re-checked.
- Low Stock
- The supplier indicated limited remaining stock. Shown for up to 14 days after it was confirmed; after that the listing says Unverified until it’s re-checked.
- Limited Availability
- Only some sizes or quantities were available when checked. Shown for up to 30 days after it was confirmed; after that the listing says Unverified until it’s re-checked.
- Available
- The fragrance oil was available when last checked. Shown for up to 30 days after it was confirmed; after that the listing says Unverified until it’s re-checked.
- Unverified
- We have not confirmed the current status of this fragrance oil. Default when there is no evidence yet.
Each listing shows when its status was last verified. Dates more than 90days old are marked as possibly out of date.
Before you order
Supplier stock and prices change quickly, sometimes faster than we can re-check. Please confirm availability on the supplier’s site before you rely on a listing.
